Attention Whirlpool Appliance Owners - Important notice re
disruption to supply. (sept 2013)
From September 1, 2013 Whirlpool have basically withdrawn
from their operations in Australia. Although their product is still on
sale, Whirlpool has now handed over its distribution to a 3rd
party company.
Doug Smith Spares has one of the
largest holdings of Whirlpool Spare parts in Australia, and we are
also constantly replenishing supplies of most common spare parts. Whilst
there were delays on some parts at the time of the transition, Doug Smith
Spares customers are at this time once again experiencing no problems with
delivery of Whirlpool Spare parts. We thank our cusotmers for their
patience whilst the transition took place.

Cleanstar vacuum parts.

Over 50 new LG
parts added to stock (added march 2011)
At Doug Smith Spares we understand
that service is everything, and therefore we aim to stock the parts we sell in
our warehouse, rather than to buy them in on demand as many other "distributors"
do.
LG is one of the fastest
growing brands on the Australian market, and as a result the demand for parts
for the brand is also growing. In response to this demand we have recently added
over 50 new LG genuine parts to our warehouse. (on top of the hundreds we
already had) Parts now held in stock include handles, interlocks and seals for
the front loaders, shelves, doors gaskets and trays for the fridges. filters,
pulsators (agitators) pumps valves and hoses for the washing machines. Our range
of stock for LG whitegoods is one of the largest held by any independent
distributor in Australia.

Chef Hoover and Dishlex parts -
now at Doug Smith Spares(added nov 2010)
In 2001 Electrolux bought the Chef, Hoover and
Dishlex brands from Southcorp, and with it all the parts for those brands.
Recently Electrolux have chosen to divest themselves of nearly half a million
dollars worth of that stock.
Although these machines are getting older, we
understand that there are many of these machines out there and their owners
would like to keep them going. As a part of our commitment to these customers,
Doug Smith Spares has purchased this stock from Electrolux, and we are proud to
announce that the parts are now available for immediate delivery.
So if you have a Chef, Hoover or dishlex machine
built prior to 2001, don't dispair. parts are still available from Doug
Smith Spares.

Kleenmaid has now been placed into receivership, and as a result owners who
have purchase Kleenmaid product now have no ongoing warranty.
